An Unsensible Sunday

It’s a wet Sunday evening. Any sensible person probably stayed inside in the dry and the warm. I am not sensible. I pulled on my wellies, grabbed some gloves and a black bag, then headed out to search for beach trash. These are some of today’s findings:

Fishing wire entangled with seaweed.
More fishing wire. This stuff is lethal to wildlife!
A rubber glove.
I’m not entirely sure what this is, but it’s plastic!
Some more plastic. Upon first glance it was indistinguishable from the seaweed beside it.
Some red material.
A big bag of Hula Hoops.
A plastic container.
Plastic moments away from being taken by the ocean!
